Kirsten A. Warhoe, M.D.

Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Warhoe’s interest in human physiology began in high school after she discovered she always enjoyed science more than any other subject. It was during her internal medicine residency at University of California in Davis, CA, that cancer care piqued her interest. Her approach to patient care was shaped by the understanding that people are often surprised and overwhelmed to find they have cancer, increasing their already significant need for excellent medical care and compassionate support. She states, “Every day, I am privileged to see people choose to fight rather than give up. Cancer patients find enormous strength and courage that they never knew they had. Giving these people and their loved ones respect, compassion, emotional support, and excellent care is as satisfying as it is well-deserved.”

Dr. Warhoe earned a medical degree from University of Colorado, Denver and completed her residency in radiation oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She also completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at University of California in Davis, CA as well as a fellowship in radioimmunotherapy. Dr. Warhoe is board certified in radiation oncology and internal medicine and is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Society of Breast Disease, and the Texas Medical Association.
