Movember: Raising Awareness for Prostate Cancer

Movember: Raising Awareness for Prostate Cancer

Every fall the annual Movember movement adds a twist on raising awareness for men’s health causes including prostate and testicular cancer and mental health. The campaign encourages men to show their support by growing moustaches and raising funds to support a men’s health cause. The program, which started with only 30 people in Australia, has now become a global movement with more than 4 million participants worldwide.

If you are interested in participating in Movember, here’s how you can help:

  • Sign up: Register online as an official participant to demonstrate your commitment.
  • Fundraise: Ask your friends and family to support your efforts by donating to the cause.
  • Communicate: Talk to people about why you’re participating in Movember and the issues that mean the most to you.
