Austin CyberKnife Participates in the Brain Power 5K

Austin CyberKnife recently participated in the 6th Annual Brain Power 5K, 10K, Survivor Stride & Kids Run.

The race, billed as “Central Texas’ Race Against Brain Cancer,” was held on Sunday, September 11, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, and raised funding for brain cancer research, recognized brain tumor survivors, and remembered loved ones lost to this devastating disease.  This year’s event benefited the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation for Brain Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as local efforts in the Central Texas brain tumor community.

Team members from Austin CyberKnife were proud to participate in the event and get the opportunity to see so many people who have been through CyberKnife treatment and credit CyberKnife with helping them through their battle with brain cancer.

The highly successful event was attended by over 2,000 people and raised over $65,000 for brain cancer research!
